ALLEN, Michael Mr. Michael Benton Allen, 58, of Atlanta died May 16, 2008. Mr. Allen was a U. S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. He worked in sales, including real estate, furniture and merchandising. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Allen of McDonough; his mother, Mary N. Allen of Atlanta; two brothers, James Allen and wife Yvonne of Wake Forest, NC and Clay Anthony Allen of Fern Park, FL; one sister, Patricia Ann DeGrasse of Bliss, Idaho; grandchildren, Nicholas Whitfield and Mary Sheldon Whitfield. A memorial graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Two o'clock in Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be posted at www.mem.com.
